Royal Canin Renal Select (RSE 24) is a complete dietetic food for adult cats which supports renal function cases of temporary or chronic renal insufficiency, due to the high quality protein and low level of phosphorus. Renal Select also helps to reduce oxelate stone formation due to the low levels of calcium and vitamin D, and because of its urine alkalising properties. Renal Select has been created as an alternative Royal Canin Renal diet. It provides a pillow kibble with a thin shell, crunchy shell and soft centre, which is ideal for cats that like to crunch but struggle with harder kibble. A veterinarians opinion should be sought before use or extending usage periods. Initially, for chronic renal insufficiency and the reduction of oxelate stone formation, feed for up to 6 months. For temporary renal insufficiency feed for a period of 2 - 4 weeks.
